My Story
Growing up in Mountain Lake in southwest Minnesota, I was shaped by a community rooted in conservative values and hard work. I was driving tractors and trucks on our family farm as soon as I could reach the pedals, learning firsthand the realities of small family farming and the value of living with less. Later, while working on a neighbor’s dairy farm, I discovered how much you can fix with just a bit of fence wire and a good pair of pliers.
That spirit of resourcefulness is what I bring to Lino Lakes. We may not have the financial resources of neighboring cities like Shoreview or Blaine, but we know how to make the most of what we’ve got. And just as importantly, we know how to preserve what makes Lino Lakes unique.

I’ve been deeply connected to Lino Lakes since 2012, when I first stepped into city government. That experience has shaped how I lead—with purpose, foresight, and a deep respect for the community we call home. My kids went to Rice Lake Elementary, and two of them graduated from Centennial High School, so I’ve seen firsthand how this city nurtures families and futures. In times like these, proven leadership matters. Lino Lakes deserves someone who’s ready to hit the ground running—not someone still learning the ropes. I’m prepared to serve from day one and honored to help guide our city toward a vibrant, inclusive future.

Work Experience
I currently work as a purchasing administrator for a family-run business. In this role, I’m gaining firsthand experience with just-in-time inventory, supply chain logistics, and the importance of managing vendor relationships—because if you don’t manage your suppliers, they end up managing you. The company operates in the packaging industry and supports a wide range of manufacturing processes. It’s a powerful reminder that America’s strength is built on the hard work of those in behind-the-scenes manufacturing jobs—the backbone of our economy.

Between 2023 and 2025, I worked part-time as a Direct Support Professional at a remarkable organization in Lino Lakes. This role gave me the opportunity to serve some of the most vulnerable members of our community.
I supported four non-verbal male individuals who required full assistance with daily living activities—including preparing meals, eating, personal hygiene, dressing, and household care. Their cognitive abilities were extremely limited, and they relied entirely on others for their well-being.
This experience deepened my understanding of mental health challenges within our community and highlighted the critical importance of compassionate care for those in greatest need—even in places like Lino Lakes.

My career in Information Technology began in the financial sector, where I worked with institutions like Investors Bank, Firstar, First Bank, and US Bank. These experiences taught me the value of structure, organization, and strong corporate leadership. Today, I bring that foundation to Lino Lakes—along with a forward-thinking, digital-first mindset that can help modernize how we serve our community.
